From Porto - São Bento or Campanhã, take the IR train to Ermida (1.5 hours), then cross the Douro by taxi boat.
By Car
From Porto Airport, drive 90 km, approximately 1.5 hours by car.
From Lisbon Airport, drive 408 km, approximately 4 hours by car.
